Char
Char is an imaginative bilingual identity project envisioning a mining enterprise set in Lebanon. Mining operations encompass the exploration, extraction, and refinement of naturally occurring solid minerals from the earth, including coal and industrial minerals.
Coal, a sedimentary rock of biochemical origin, originates from the accumulation of organic matter, often found along the peripheries of shallow seas and lakes. The design concept draws inspiration from the distinctive texture of coal: crumbly, slightly moist, powdery, and granular.
